SAP S/4 upgrade
In connection with a comprehensive SAP S/4 upgrade, an integration to other running SAP ECC installations had to be set up and ensure the business flow remained intact during and after the upgrade.
This was essential to ensure that the business processes remained intact and running and included a flow from sales orders (from the buying system), purchase requisitions, purchase orders, sales orders (from the selling system), deliveries and invoices.
The solution included an in-depth understanding and description of process flows as well as the IT architecture in SAP. A strategic use of user exits, customizing and EDI to ensure an efficient transition.
Monitoring, troubleshooting and debugging Idocs was also a crucial part of the delivery.
By combining expertise in SAP technology with extensive experience in integration, system architecture, ABAP, and high technical knowledge within SAP, we managed to ensure that the customer’s business-critical processes remained operational while the customer benefited from the new features and improvements, that comes with an S4 upgrade.
SAP Support Upgrade
Delivery as technical project manager to ensure a smooth and successful upgrade of our customers’ SAP systems. The project covered a wide range of SAP areas and involved key players from several SAP teams as well as SAP base departments and external subcontractors.
The approach to project management was characterized by a thorough understanding of both technical and business aspects of the SAP platform. We worked closely with all stakeholders to ensure that the upgrade was executed to perfection and met all requirements and expectations.
The project faced complex challenges but the upgrade itself was completed on time.
The delivery was both planning and implementation for testing and subsequent support – which contributed to the project’s success and the customer’s satisfaction.
